Parallel and Serial interface options make operation no more difficult than interfacing with an 8-bit microcontroller. These displays come with user controlled contrast meaning they can be used in a wide range of settings and the display can be adjusted to ensure optimal optical performance. Many displays also have temperature compensation circuitry to maintain contrast as the ambient temperature changes.
